I intend to use this blog to showcase some of my Radio Control Adventures.
I'm a long time RC Fan, and have had everything from Planes, Cars, Boats to Helicopters.
I'm currently building a Quadcopter with FPV and also a small foamy park fly setup that the FPV may also be used on.
My builds will be updated on here as I go.

My Quadcopter Build

I decided to build a Quad with the hope of being able to do FPV in the future.
Upon deciding what to buy, I thought I would just take the plunge and get everything I needed, but on a budget. 

This is my list of parts and my reasoning, there are also a few connectors and bits and pieces that I haven't bothered listing, bear in mind I also already have a Transmitter and Receiver from previous Heli's etc:

Turnigy Talon V1 Carbon Quad Frame
A good cheap setup that looks pretty damn nice I think.
I may get some better motor plates lasercut, but will try and keep it cheap!

Nice little motors that come with props and prop adaptor for a very good price!

Hobbyking KK2.1 Flight Controller
A great simple to setup little unit that is super cost effective and has a good user base.

Four Speed controllers in one unit, simplifies the wiring and gives a very neat solution.
